|
Completely hermetically sealed packages are produced at Salzweg near Passau (Germany) and at Klosterneuburg, Austria (small series). These basic systems ensure the reliability of semiconductor and microelectronic elements even under extreme environmental conditions. Among others, areas of application include the automotive industry (gear control systems, airbag initiators, and sensors), the capital goods industry (sensors and battery covers), and the aviation industry (sensors and power electronics).
The high extent of vertical integration underlying production processes at Electrovac allows for a wide range of operations, including components manufacturing (die cutting, machining and production of moulded glass parts), and all assembly, resmelting and soldering processes up to surface finishings. Our core competences further include in-house engineering of tools and custom machines, semi- or fully automated assembly processes and testing and control procedures. Based on these highly flexible and independent structures, we support our customers every step along the way – from developing designs and production of samples to pilot series and large-scale production.
