Stefan Petters joined Electrovac GmbH, Klosterneuburg (Austria) in 1978. He has been head of Electrovac since 1989 as managing partner and in charge of strategy and expansion since 1995. After completing his professional training in impulse and process technology, Mr. Petters completed an MBA at Bryant College (USA) and began his career in Great Britain, France, and the USA. He developed Electrovac from a commodity components manufacturer into a globally active development partner for compound material solutions. By developing in-house IT, he laid the foundation for the company’s successful internationalization. Under his management, Electrovac was awarded the innovation prize of the Austrian Industrial Research Promotion Fund in the 1990s and the Austrian National Innovation Award (Staatspreis für Innovation) for the development of the oxygen sensor. In 2003, Mr. Petters was invited to join the Advisory Board of Tertiary Education in Lower Austria. |
