Why investigate the smoothness of DBC substrates?
What are the advantages of electronic energy control or temperature control in ceramic stovetops (*)?
What are the advantages of glass seals made with titanium?
How does the CCVD process contribute to lowering greenhouse emissions?
ElNano® - Thermal Grease - Product line improved

Why investigate the smoothness of DBC substrates?
To obtain DBC substrates with defined planarity
Consistent quality of your products
To know the elastic behavior of your DBC at different temperatures
To rationally position your system weldings
Project status: Systems have been implemented for the assessment of temperature-dependent deformation of DBC up to 300°C. All investigations will have been concluded by the end of 2007.

What are the advantages of glass seals made with titanium?
High corrosion resistance
Low weight on account of low density (4.5 grams/cm3) combined with high stability
A glass seal with high compatibility with the body
High mechanical and thermal capacity
Project status: Evaluation of titanium glass seals
May 2006: Customers supplied with samples

How does the CCVD process contribute to lowering greenhouse emissions?
Carbon dioxide-free generation of hydrogen
Hythan, a methane/hydrogen mix for the reduction of the carbon dioxide exchange in combustion engines
Carbon nanofibers as intelligent base material for light construction and composite materials
Substitution of flame soot helps to preserve oil resources
Project status: on-line measurements with gas probes and chemical analyses of gas cylinders, production of nanotubes and nanofibers in batch mode; patenting of the process and applications. A first pilot plant for commercial use could start operations in 2007.

ElNano® - Thermal Grease
elNano is easy to apply
Applicable for different BLT
High thermal conductivity
Since some years Electrovac develops thermal greases based on nanotechnology. In particular Carbon-Nanotubes are used as thermal conducting substance. Beside the existing products elNano 100 and thin Electrovac is developing a new thermal greases for bondline-thicknesses above 250µm:
elNano®250 for bondline-thicknesses above 250µm
