Founded in Vienna by Werner von Hacht and Dr. Hans Huber – Electrovac begins production of radios and mercury switches.

Electrovac produces the first glass-to-metal feedthrough.

Establishment of another production site in Salzweg, Germany.

Electrovac begins manufacturing temperature controllers and Click-Therm production in Vienna.

Opening of the new production site in Klosterneuburg, Austria.

First DIN ISO 9002 certification of the Salzweg site. Relocation of all production from Vienna to Klosterneuburg and Salzweg.

The first glass feedthroughs for flex-fuel sensors are produced.

Electrovac manufactures the first hermetic packages for automatic transmission controls and airbag igniters.

ISO TS 16949 & ISO 14001 certification of the Salzweg site.

First DIN ISO 9001 certification of the Klosterneuburg site.

Acquisition by BC-Tech Holding AG.

Expansion of the Salzweg site.

Opening of the new site in Thailand.

Founding of electrovac AG with its site in Salzweg and integration of our long-standing business partner and supplier Beutlhauser GmbH & Co. KG.
