The electrovac Group (hereinafter “electrovac,” “we,” or “us”) is pleased that you are visiting our websites and mobile applications (collectively also referred to as the “Online Offer”) and appreciates your interest in our company and our products.
We take data protection seriously
Protecting your privacy when processing personal data and ensuring the security of all business data is an important concern for us, which we take into account in our business processes. When you visit our website, our web servers automatically store the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the website from which you are visiting us, the pages you visit on our site, and the date and duration of your visit. This information is strictly necessary for the technical transmission of the web pages and secure server operation. No personalized evaluation of this data is performed.

Personal data
“Personal data” exists when individual details about the personal or factual circumstances of an identifiable person are obtained; this includes, in particular, name, address, email address, IP address, and the like. You do not have to disclose any personal data to visit our website. In some cases, we require your name and address as well as further information to be able to offer you the requested service.
The same applies if we supply you with information material upon request or when we answer your inquiries. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. Furthermore, we only store the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.
When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for further information, which is of a voluntary nature. Whenever we process personal data, we do so to offer you our service or to pursue our commercial goals.
Automatically stored data
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
– Date and time of the request
– Name of the requested file
– Page from which the file was requested
– Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
– Web browser and operating system used
– Full IP address of the requesting computer
– Amount of data transferred
This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, this data is stored by us for a short period. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons based on this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. In anonymized form, the data is also processed for statistical purposes; no comparison with other data sets or disclosure to third parties, even in extracts, takes place.
Cookies
When you visit our websites, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files transferred from an internet server to your browser and stored on its hard drive. Only the Internet Protocol address is stored here—no personal data. This information stored in the cookies allows us to automatically recognize you on your next visit to our website, which makes it easier for you to use. The legal basis for the use of cookies is the legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Of course, you can also visit our websites without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized on your next visit, you can also refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser to “refuse cookies.” You can find the respective procedure in the operating instructions of your browser. If you refuse the use of cookies, however, there may be restrictions in the use of some areas of our websites.
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner.” Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at https://devowl.io/rcb/data-processing/
The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Security
We have taken technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers working for us are committed to the applicable data protection laws.
Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before being transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to a constant improvement process and our privacy policies are constantly revised. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
Data subject rights
You have the right at any time to information, correction, deletion, or restriction of the processing of your stored data, a right to object to the processing, as well as a right to data portability and to lodge a complaint in accordance with the requirements of data protection law.
Right to information:
You can request information from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.
Right to correction:
If we process your data that is incomplete or incorrect, you can request its correction or completion from us at any time.
Right to deletion:
You can request the deletion of your data from us if we process it unlawfully or if the processing disproportionately interferes with your legitimate protection interests. Please note that there may be reasons that prevent immediate deletion, e.g., in the case of legally regulated retention obligations.
Regardless of the exercise of your right to deletion, we will delete your data immediately and completely, provided that no legal transaction or statutory retention obligation stands in the way.
Right to restriction of processing:
You can request the restriction of the processing of your data from us if
– you dispute the accuracy of the data, for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data.
– the processing of the data is unlawful, but you refuse deletion and instead request a restriction of data use,
– we no longer need the data for the intended purpose, but you still need this data to assert or defend legal claims, or
– you have lodged an objection to the processing of the data.
Right to data portability:
You can request that we provide you with your data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, common, and machine-readable format and that you can transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that
– we process this data based on a revocable consent given by you or to fulfill a contract between us, and
– this processing is carried out using automated procedures.
If technically feasible, you can request a direct transfer of your data to another controller from us.
Right to object:
If we process your data out of legitimate interest, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. You can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
Right to lodge a complaint:
If you believe that we are violating German or European data protection law when processing your data, we ask you to contact us so that we can clarify any questions. You also have the right, of course, to contact the responsible supervisory authority.
